O.R.B. is a romcom comic focusing on absurd humor, following the daily lives of two alien "orb" lesbian girlfriends who live on Earth named Ivory and Mint, as they learn to accept themselves and their own excentricities as much as they love each other's, while also running an ice cream shop together. They also have a pet named Myon, and are around 26 years old.
Mint is a cheerful and energetic girl, but also pretty innocent and airheaded. She gets in silly situations all the time, often defying logic and sometimes even the laws of physics, and she also is propense to crying and creating problems for herself. Usually for silly reasons. Despite it all, she always finds a reason to smile and push through her own clumsiness, which rubs off on her girlfriend, Ivory. She is aware of her own shortcomings and weird traits, but Ivory provides her a safe space to be herself, with no compromises, and without society's pressure.
Ivory is smart, creative and generally serene, but also generally more shy than her girlfriend, and lacks a lot of self-confidence. She blushes easily, and is shy about her own hobbies, which include art (sometimes a little bit spicy) and reading books and manga, but she can easily open herself to the people deems close, and her motherly instincts push her to take great care of her loved ones whenever possible, which includes Mint! She's taught Ivory that being weird and not being bound by society's standards is valid, and even though Mint baffles her constantly, thanks to her charm she is learning to be herself, without compromises.
Orbs are a humanoid species of unknown origin that coexist among humans and other species on earth. Most notably, they lack pupils and are born in many different colors, which they tend to be named after. Their species' name was given after the form that newborns take, that being large colorful marbles known as "cores". As they age, a humanoid body develops around the core, which powers it.
I am Caramel64, also known as Tina. I am an illustrator, composer and high quality ripper from Spain, and a big fan of anime and otaku culture. I started this webcomic in 2023, inspired by Mediocre Ride and Another Piece Of Candy, and out of a desire to tell stories and make peopole laugh, which is something I already attempt to do on a daily basis. These characters mean so much to me, as they're projections of my own relationship and over time have become an exploration of what it truly feels to be in a relationship that heals you, while still retaining the comedy aspect of it. I am not very active on social media (other than for posting my own art and sometimes reblogging others'), and I am mostly only seen around the SiIvaGunner and Squid Girl communities.
